Glycolic acid. Remember our mom’s soap opera days and old adverts for Alpha Hydrox? It still exists under the name Alpha and is the best bang for your buck when it comes to glycolic acid. Why pay $45 for LaRoche Posay when you can get a stronger, cleaner version for around $20 or less from Alpha. Sure, you won’t find it at CVS but Amazon carries it.
