It’s hard getting old when our culture puts so much emphasis on youth and beauty. I want to learn to take care of my skin but man these videos are just starting to make me worry about my appearance more. Everytime I see my reflection all I can think is im melting

  5. Hi there your right I just turned 50 and do use self tanner because for me it does help flaws especially on my legs which I had an exzema/psoriasis outbreak years ago in nyc years ago I did scratch a bunch before I went to derm and scarred my legs up and later in life I notice Everytime I shave with the skin issue I have I can get these little red bumps that can turn into ingrown hair and scar complete nightmare.

I have an appt with a derm to tackle the scars but as you said the self tanner does darken the flaws and it’s so annoying. Should I not use it? But I can’t see a way around it cause it does help the flaws. God I feel like right when I went into perimenopause my legs scars and vein became more pronounced complete nightmare.

I have been hit with everything going into menopause even hair loss one day noticed how much smaller my pony was getting.

I can write a book ok! Toughest skin period ever not to mention how it feels at different moments… and I’m brushing so much easier and scarring.

Make me want to scream I can barely look at my legs now
